"This vest was my first, but definately not last, Carhartt purchase. I love this vest. It kept me warm when worn over a hoodie on those extremely cold days, and dry when I'm working with logging machinery in the snow or rain. This vest has saved many hoodies and shirts wear and tear. Dress it up or dress it down. This is a perfect vest for a country guy or gal. Can be worn with a light weight shirt or add a heavy sweatshirt underneath. "I chose this vest because I was unable to find a jacket in this style. It has been comfortable from the start feels as though it was custom made for me. With a sweat shirt and this vest I am very comfortable while working out doors. The pockets are deep and keep my hands very warm. The quilted lining is very warm and the canvas exterior really blocks the wind. I am confident I will be wearing this vest for years to come." 1 of 1 found this review helpful.

"I have now purchased 5 of the Carhartt vests and willnot be without one as I wear one about 8 months out of the year. When I was working, I sang the praises of my vest and several of my coworkers ended up buying the Carhartt vests also. They are warm, durable and washable. They are comfortable to wear and easy to keep clean and looking good. I recommend the quilted, artic wear vest to all my friends who are outside for any reason in the cold weather.
