"My husband's prior vest has worn out. He wanted one just like his old vest. So to Carhartt web site I looked. Found almost the exact duplicate. One difference...the new one has the storm flap which was not on his other vest. He is so pleased that he has the same type vest he was so accustomed wearing. My husband does not like change. "I bought this vest as a Christmas gift for my fiance per his request. Although the vest I ordered was different from the one he initially wanted, he likes it better and is very happy with the style and the warmth it provided during a recent 3 hour outdoor snow removal stint! "We have traditionally purchased the bomber jackets for our employees, but one employee requested the vest instead. We ordered the vest and now several employees have requested the same item. "When working in the outdoors during early winter, I always found that my coats and jackets were a little cumbersome, especially if I needed to be able to move my arms through a full range of movement. That all changed when I bought my first Carhartt vest. I found that I could put the vest on under my bibs (don't zip it, just pull the center as tight together as possible before buttoning the bibs) and have a warm body and arms free to make any movement they needed to. Working both with animals and in the oil fields, this came in handy. No matter what got thrown at me, I could move around easily but never had to worry about staying warm." Share this Review:
