"I now own three of these in various colors. This is without a doubt the most comfortable sweatshirt I have ever had the pleasure of wearing. The weight of this sweatshirt coupled with the thickness of the material makes this a great item for lying on the couch or layering for 30 degrees below zero. "I drive a truck across the country. This sweatshirt stands up through winter and windy conditions. I use it as an additional layer below a snow boarding coat and it works just right. I am 5'7" tall, 190 lbs. I bought an XL, and the stomach area is more than I needed, but the sleeve length is just right and hood is not too big. Next time I might buy a L and see how it works. "I am a Airframe and Powerplant Aircraft Mechanic for Major Airline at O'Hare which is brutally cold in the winter. My Carhartt sweatshirts hold up well to the abuse they get at this Airport and layered with other clothes they give me the warmth of a heavy parka with the addition of flexiblity I need to do my job, that a parka just does not provide. "I had a large one of these that was perfect but the ends of the sleeves started to get frayed after about two years of heavy usage. I recently got a new small one and the front pocket seems to be much larger than my old one. The pocket covers almost a third of the front I would say.
