"I have worked in the construction field for 40 years and have worn Carhartt almost exclusively for that time. These jeans stand up to the demanding work environments they are subjected to and wear extermely well. The comfort level is superb and the longevity of the garment is excellent. I have been a Carhartt customer long before they became a fashion statement and will continue to be in my retirement which has commenced. "I switched from the competitors jeans to Carhartt Jeans about 4 years ago. My jeans used to last 6 to 8 months max. before needing new ones. Now I wear Carhartts B17DST. They are comfortable and last me 1.5 to 2 years at a time. I currently have 3pr for work and 3pr for every day wear. I am also trying out the B13's currently. "These jeans are made with work in mind. They are made with a more durable material than other name brands. The pockets are good sized and also made with a heavy material, back pockets are lined to be tougher. The belt loops are big enough for work belts and spaced right to keep them in place. The zipper is heavy with a decent sized tab. I like the fit for good freedom of movement while working. By the way, they look as good as any other. I wear the new ones when I go out.
