"I've enjoyed my other two Carhartt jackets for a while now. Recently, I decided that I wanted a Carhartt jacket that was less utilitarian in style (no insult implied or intended) and more casual in style for everyday wear, but still possessing all the qualities of my other Carhartt jackets. After a bit of thought and Internet sleuthing I decided on the J14. The J14 was a good choice for me. It's "western" styling is understated so I don't look like an escapee from a 50's or 60's TV western set. Carhartt jackets can be a bit stiff when new but I was pleasantly surprised when I put this jacket on. It was "looser" than my other Carhartt jackets were when they were new. If you're looking for a Carhartt jacket that blends Carhartt's trademark rugged dependability and quality with a casual style the J14 is for you." Share this Review:

"I have really enjoyed the Style #: J14 Men’s Dark Brown Sandstone Santa Fe Jacket that I bought about two years ago. I found it to be warm and comfortable even in the middle of a Canadian winter. The canvas allows outwards moisture ventilation, but is sufficiently tightly-woven to be quite windproof. The two inner pockets are handy for carrying cell phone, documents, & etc. In my opinion the styling is attractive in a business-like way. The very-dark-brown colour wears well without showing minor soiling, and after two years has acquired a few lighter-coloured scuff marks at flex and abrasion points, which I call signs of character. I do not recommend laundering or dry-cleaning this type of very-dark-coloured canvas garment as in my experience doing so can cause the canvas to look a bit tired; instead, just use the garment with reasonable care and respect, and let it live its life. I have enjoyed my first J14 so much I just bought my second one a few days ago." Share this Review:

"I bought this jacket in 2004. I still wear it many times per week. Everything about this jacket is tip-top. From the rock-solid construction to the toasty warm lining, it's a great coat. The hand pockets are great for chilly days, too. There's nothing I would change about this coat. The only advice I have for Carhartt is to bring back the rust red color!!!" Share this Review:

"We purchased this jacket for our son for Christmas. The quality of the jacket is great. It's heavy duty and put together well.
