Warmest Ever
Date: January 5, 2010
"I bought this jacket for our Annual New Years trip to the high desert. The weather drops to freezing temperatures where we camp and I wanted to be sure that I would be warm for the trip. It didn't dissapoint. It kept me warm all week long. It was very comfortable and durable. As avid Offroaders I wanted something that would be warm and hold up to some abuse and not be to bulky, this did it all. My husband tried to steal it multiple times so I will definitely be buying another one soon. I also loved all the pockets it had, I was able to carry my keys, phone and camera, gloves and glasses with me all week long and not have to worry about losing them. I would deffinitely recommend this to some one that wanted a great warm jacket!"

Date: January 3, 2010
"My wife bought this coat for me for christmas i work outside all the time delivering so when its cold and wet im cold and wet.this coat is water proof and its very warm i love it.I am no longer geting soaked at work also the heavy duty construction of the coat is great protection i work with appliances that have sharp corners so getting my arms cut was normal but now it's a thing of the past the fabric is so heavy duty it does'nt even get snagged witch is nice.I think it one of thee best coats in the world."

Good cold weather coat.
Date: December 10, 2009
"The coat keeps me very warm working outside all day in twenty degree weather, and is windproof as claimed. It's pretty stiff at first, especially the hood, but it gets better after the coat is worn for a while. Fits a little looser around the middle than I would prefer, but I'm a tall and skinny guy so that isn't too out of the ordinary. Also, it has been seeing some pretty serious wear over the past few months and isn't really showing it at all. Overall a good purchase if you need solid cold weather work coat."

Top Notch!
Date: August 27, 2009
"This jacket combines all the qualities of the thermal lined active jac (see my review) with a warm winter lining. I really like the Extremes material. It is light, dries well, repels water and stains, and is very durable. After four years of use it looks as good as new. Combined with the Extremes arctic bibs you have a serious cold weather outfit. I would definitely buy another one though I doubt this one will wear out anytime soon."

Would Make A Polar Bear Jealous!
Date: February 13, 2009
"This jacket is so warm and comfortable, if it came in full body length, you could use it for an Arctic Grade Sleeping Bag! Don't leave home without it! You could rewrite the phrase, "No Jacket Required", to, "No Other Clothes Required"!"

As Always.. Good Stuff
Date: January 21, 2009
"I have enjoyed this jacket very much. It is relatively thin allowing good range of motion, but at the same time is very warm. Warm even at 20 below in stiff wind, I was actually sweating after shoveling for just a few minutes. My only issue (a small issue) is that when you are not wearing the hood, it is somewhat stiff and will not fold back far enough. This will get in the way every once in a while when sitting in a vehicle. Otherwise I'm very happy with the quality and also the styling."

Great Jacket
Date: January 15, 2009
"I bought this jacket for my boyfriend as a Christmas present because he works outside in the cold and I read all the other reviews that stated that this jacket is extremely warm. He is very satisfied with it. The only complaint that he has is that it is a little stiff even after the first wash. I am sure in time it will be more comfortable like all his other Carhartt jackets. Other than that he is very happy with the jacket and would recommend it to his friends."

Outdoors Staying Warm
Date: October 23, 2008
"I use my jacket outdoors in the construction industry and I have found that this Men's Extreme Jacket was the best purchase I have ever made. I stay warm and dry because of the water repellent material and the wind is no match for this jacket. I recommend this to everybody."
