"Owning several watch caps, I came across this and knew it was a must-try item. The little visor seems like a purely stylish add-on, however, in the snow, sleet and rain that little visor works wonders. The cap can even be spun around and the visor can be used to help block the wind off of your neck when its -15 and the wind is gusting a -40 wind chill outside. Every little bit helps. My watch caps (Carhartt brand of course) have typically lasted around five years or so before the fabric begins to reach its breaking point and becomes severely degraded and somewhat raspy on the skin. These caps see heavy use: a lot of sweat, grease, oil, and other chemicals in my line(s) of work. I consider the Carhartt watch cap an essential product in my arsenal of gear to resist the environment."
