"I bought these pants for my best friend. He is the type who will buy cheap jeans to work in, because he doesn't want to waste money on pants he will just ruin with oil, dirt & grime. He works on cars; works on his parents' transport truck; works around the house, out in the country. I gave him these, and told him I wanted to see how long they lasted, in comparison to his usual cheap jeans. 5 years later, he is still wearing them, they look awful, stained with everything you could imagine... but he now believes that one pair of Carhartt are MUCH better than his numerous pairs of $20 jeans." We were SO happy with our decision, the Groom, the 4 groomsmen and both of the Fathers wore these pants in our October 10th wedding, we paired them with all white long sleeve button up shirts, and the dads picked their own color of shirts and they looked So sharp! The guys were so happy to use Carhartt's in the wedding, knowing that they would get lots of use in them after our big day! (unlike tuxes that you rent for tons of money and have to return afterwards!) We had so many compliments on the guys' pants-they were comfortable, durable- and just perfect for an outdoor wedding." "I had owned Carhartt clothes in the past but I was afraid the rugged characteristics I liked had suffered because Carhartt has become "chic" in some circles. Not so.
